quirky illustrating

for the past few months i have been designing and illustrating invitations for our wedding.  they are a little more quirky than my science illustrations, but i have been loving it.   more images to come.

views of and from the new office

my office has recently moved and i am loving the new views.

pacific northwest

the pacific northwest is a stunning place.  here is a collection of some of my favorites from over the years.

from the Remnants collection

cancer productus - red rock crab

an oldie but a goodie.  these are 2 from my remnants collection.  my inspirations don't always come in a complete complete specimen.  a fragment of a shell here.  a single bone here.  this collection illustrates what you can learn from just fragments.

euspira lewisii - moon snail
